Interactive Logic Model

These interactive tools show how Northside Development Group works to strengthen our community as a member of the Purpose Built Communities Network. We work across four key components: Mixed-Income Housing, Cradle-to-College Education, Community Wellness, and Economic Vitality

Each logic model maps out the connections between what we do, our community partners’ work, and the changes we're collectively working toward. Together, our work preserves rich cultural histories, strengthens community connections, and creates pathways for every resident to lead a thriving, choice-filled life.

What are Logic Models?

Logic models are visual representations of how change occurs.

Think of these logic models as roadmaps that show how our day-to-day work connects to Northside residents’ long-term vision for the community. They're based on NDG's current programs and initiatives, drawing on project documentation and conversations with staff as well as community partners.

Who are the logic models for?

Whether you're a community partner, neighborhood resident, or simply curious about our work, these logic models can help you:

  • Understand how different programs and initiatives connect to one another

  • See how your participation or partnership contributes to broader community goals

  • Track the different types of changes we are working towards

Each of the four interactive models—Mixed-Income Housing, Cradle-to-College Education, Community Wellness, and Economic Vitality—can be explored on its own or together:

  1. Start with a topic that interests you or relates to your connection with Northside Development Group.

  2. Click or hover over different elements and follow the flow from left to right to see how partners, strategies, and activities lead to community changes over time.

  3. Click ‘Learn More’ to see strategy descriptions, activities, and examples of Northside Development Group programs contributing to a specific strategy.

  4. Look for connections between the models—our work in one area often supports progress in others.
